Verizon Vent!!
So I sit down to finally relax. All 3 kids are in bed and I'm thrilled top sit and have my LIF time. As soon as I sit my cell phones goes off to tell me I have voicemail. I get up and listen and I have 3 voicemails. I listen to them and they were from YESTERDAY!!!!
I'm going tobe calling themand hopefully getting a month for free when I'm done yelling. What if that was my sitter telling me there was an emergency with my children. Of coursr she had other ways to get to me if she really needed me but... obviously
"DO YOU HEAR ME NOW?" has ticked me off. I was on a field trip with my class yesterday at teh Vanderbilt Planetarium AND I wasn't even in the show, I was outside the entire time because one of my students flipped as soon as we walked into the observitory!

Verizon has dead spots in that area. I used to live in Northport and my phone did not work at all down by the harbor or at my church which is near the planetarium. I switched to singulair.

I would call verizon, I use to have verizon and I wasn't happy with them.I'm sorry that happened to you.

this is a cell phone?
you are not the first and won't be the last not to get a signal where a call goes straight to voice mail. and when the voicemail did come though, maybe you missed the vibrate or 1 beep that you had a message. don't want to say its common but does happen

Every once in awhile the voice mail thing happens to me and DH as well.
There will be no message and all of a sudden, the voice mail alert comes on and the message is from the day before

OK, I can definitely understand your frustration in not getting the voicemails right away, but do you honestly feel as though you deserve a month of free service because you had 3 voicemails that came a day late? Cell phone service is not always 100% perfect, sometimes there are technical glitches... I would think that if you have continued service issues with Verizon that you could switch your numbers to another carrier that has better service in the areas where you spend time. JMHO!

do you do the *228 and update your phone regularly (like 1x a month) ? sometimes i think if you don't do updates -- the phone signal doesn't always pick up the way it should
