the ONLY way i'll do this if i get it over with early in the day, but i don't want to do it too early that i make my neighbors want to hire a sniper Chat Icon

When I lived in Hicksville there was a law that you couldn't run power equipment before 7:00 a.m.
I don't think there is a law in Brookhaven where I am now, but I wouldn't do anything before 9:00 a.m. just so I don't pizz off the neighbors.

8 is OK, 9 is better, IMO. I don't get upset at neighbors doing loud yardwork at 8.

Re: how early is too early??

I say 10 because I get really annoyed at my neighbors when they start up their lawnmowers at 8. Even 9 is early on the weekend for me. I'm up at 4:45 during the week, on the weekend I don't want to have to get up early.

Call your local town or village hall. There may be ordinances/laws that could result in fines if you do it too early.

That's two different categories.... *I* don't do yardwork until 9 or 10, but that's because I'm too tired and lazy to get out of the house any earlier... Totally agree here!!! I am usually running errands at 8 or else I would be out there at 8 on the dot doing my yardwork just so I have the rest of the day to enjoy. So, 9 works better for me. I could care less if I hear the landscapers for my neighbors out there at 8! Chat Icon
