ditto! i was seriously pizzed that he got voted off tonight!!!!! i couldnt believe it! and that was really mean of Ryan to say that last year they didnt vote anyone off the week of Idol Gives Back and then say that they're not doing that this year! that was like giving him false hope only to have his dreams crushed...for the 2nd time in like 30 seconds!!!!! W T F ryan????? 
Kristy lee cook better go home or im not watching anymore.

Ok someone brought up the religious-ness of this song last night. As lovely as the sentiment may be, I don't watch American Idol to praise the Lord. I am sure there is an inspirational song about giving and charity that is a lil less intense. Not my thing.
Jumping in late b/c I'm 3 hours behind you guys... I agree. It was a very pretty song, but I thought it was a little strange to put something with such strong religious sentiment on a show like American Idol, and then sing it two nights in a row.

I can't believe he got kicked off...but, I said from the beginning that he's in a different class than the others...he's got a great voice, and should already be making albums...can't figure out why he's not.
You just can't compare him with someone like David Archuletta...and since a lot of the viewers of this show are young girls, you know they're voting for him whether he's the most talented or not.

I cannot describe how angry I am over tonights idol.
First off..he went before Kristy, Brooke or even Syesha?????????????
And how they handled it was SO WRONG! Broke down the whole spirit of Idol gives back in my opinion. It really pizzed me off and I am close to not watching anymore I swear!!!!!!!!!!

OMG, I am shocked. I'm not the biggest Michael Johns fan in the world, but come on - Kristy should've been gone WEEKS ago! Yet she's safe and this guy gets sent home?? Did you see everyone's mouths open in the audience? Paula's too - even Michael himself looked surprised. And yes, Ryan Seacrest is an a$$.

Once again it shows how taking on challenging songs can bite you in the a$$, especially in the later stages. I didn't think he would win, but I definitely didn't seem him going before KLC.

ITA!! I can't believe he went before Kristy Lee!!!  I thought he was SO talented and had SO much promise. I hope somebody snatches him up. I don't think we've heard the last of him

Brooke is losing it.
Carly needs to relax or she's going next.

I'm really hoping David Cook will win it all.
I'd just like to make a statement. The judges ate always looking for originality & the contestants get flamed everytime a performance sounds like karaoke. What about David Castro's rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"? THAT was a total replication of Israel Kamakawiwo's version, yet none of the judges even mentioned karaoke. How unoriginal is that???? Yes, its very hard to make a song "your own" especially when the song / version is so popular, but seriously, I just dont understand why some contestants get flamed for certain things & others dont.
As for Kristy, shes got all her country fans voting for her. The Tiny boppers are voting for Jason Castro & annoying David Archuletta. Brooke was wonderful in the begining, but as the weeks go by, I've noticed thats shes not such a seasoned singer. The 70's syle she has, which although is wonderful, will not be successful in the mainstream. Syesha has a beautiful voice, but shes just so forgetable. Carly, really thinks shes better than what she is & in my opinion is not a true "American Idol". That leaves David Cook which I absolutely love. I feel he has the most talent all around.

I am thinking she is the "Vote for the Worst" person this year. She sucks. she really does.
I am no longer watching Idol. I mean it. The fact that he was in the bottom 3 is absurd enough, but the fact that he went home? Completely ridiculous.

I'm not saying he would win- or that he was the best- but come ON- he is 10 times better than her!

I actually like Kristy, a little. She has greatly improved.
I am very surprised that Micahel left, because not only was it his first tiem inthe bottom 3, he didn't have the worst performance last night. It was so-so, after weeks of excellent performances. I think the people that love him, are just not the people that vote.
David Cook & Carly annoy me, even though they don't totally suck & I think they should go.
I don't even know who I want to wiin. I love Jason Castro, but I'm not sure I'd say he's Idol material.
