Dilemma

So I found the stroller/car seat pattern and the high chair I want but they are all online at Albee Baby. I plan on buying these 3 items myself. Is it too soon? I still feel like something bad could happen and I don;t want to jinx myself but I am also worried it will become discontinued. It's also on "sale" right now but this could be one of those online places that's pretty much always running the "sale". I am almost 19 weeks. WWYD?

Re: Dilemma

I would do more research on the website (how often are sales, what is the return policy) and more research on how new/old the pattern is to try to figure out if it will be discontinued soon.

Re: Dilemma

i would buy it from now them if u really love it! i already bought all my furniture and some lil things, i thought at first maybe it was too soon, but now that i have it all in the room, i am excited for her to arrive, and am happy i got it all early so i dont have to stress myself later. i am looking online for strollers etc too since this one patter i saw wasnt in bru or bbb for my registry. if i find it for the right price, i will buy it now too, i am 25 wks. btw, thanks for posting about albee baby- i didnt know about that site, so i'm going to check it out tonite to see if they have what i am looking for! good luck with your shopping!Chat Icon

A lot of the girls here said they used that web site and loved it. I asked before Chat Icon

As far as the pattern. I have never gotten a straight answer when asking something about that. They don't want to be held responsible I guess if they say it will/won't and it is/isn't. Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Dilemma

I noticed the vendor that makes the crib / changing table we want just came out with a new line that looks extremely similar to the one we like.... but we like the original better.

I got suspicious that they may be discontinuing the older line, and we ordered the furniture a couple weeks ago. we're picking them up this week....

so, I'm only 15.5 weeks and we already have a nursery... don't worry about jinxing nonsense... superstitions have no power unless you give it to them Chat Icon

Re: Dilemma

If you love it then definately get it...I waited with my DD's carseat and then the pattern was discontinued and I just didn't like any of the new patterns they came out with. Also, Iordered my duo glide stroller from Albee baby and recieved it 2 days later. I'm due in July but the price was great and the pattern was nice so I just went ahead and got it.
