LI IVF girls...
Ugh I am going crazy with this new center opening. I have to hand in my consents for my FET and I have the old consent forms. Everytime I call they tell me to hold off because they dont have the new ones yet, but then when I go there they ask me if I have my consents in.
I also have to get the form notarized allowing them to move the embryos to the new facility and get that in like TOMORROW because otherwise they may have to cancel my cycle this month.
Anyone get any answers regarding the new facility etc?
ETA--
I frekkin LOVE them and their staff and this is the first HINT of an annoyance I have dealt with. I dont want this to discourage anyone from using them. It just happens to be that my transfer is in the middle of a move!

Yeah, it's really annoying but I think they are frustrated too. Anytime I ask about my next cycle, they really don't have an answer because everything is changing.
FYI, I'm a notary and I work right near their office. If you need a notary, let me know. If I can help, I will.

I hear ya. I had to cancel and then reschedule my IVF Interview and they kept putting me off until they could figure out when they could start doing them again in the new office, which set my plans back a bit. Frustrating, but they have still been very nice and apologetic about it.

I love their office but I am perturbed at all the paperwork.
I got two of the forms notarized. I went to a bank and they told me they do not do hospital forms?! Never heard that before. Maybe they had issues with Ivf...who knows. When I finally do get the forms notarized, I was told by LIIVF that there is a 3rd form. Arghh!
And I wanted my husband to sign the boarding pass, but they mentioned that the new forms are not in.
They been nice on the phone and they too seem frustrated. They are lucky that I love their office and I guess it is my fault for waiting this long!

I know, I am supposed to do my IVF cycle the 2nd cycle at the new facility but no one can tell me exactly when that will be. Its driving me nuts! I am such a planner

I have been at the Lake success office all week and asking about the new Melville office. It seems that it will be opening "very soon" but no exact date yet. I know that the old Melville office is officially closed so all patients are diverted to Lake Success or Pt. Jefferson for right now.

This worries me I am supposed to start my IVF cycle on 4/30. Last week they told me that the first IVF cycle in Melville was starting 4/14. If they have no date for that cycle then that means they don't have a date for mine I will be in PJ for u/s and bw tomorrow am and will ask again.

Oh wow, really? I have an appointment on the 15th too? They never said anything...hmmm? I guess I should call today.

I spoke to Johnna in Melville on Tuesday (the last day they were there) and they said they would be closed from Wednesday through Friday (they were never open on the weekends) and that they'd be back in service on Monday.
She also said that nothing was going on there just yet. They were still doing IUIs in Port Jeff and Lake Success and IVF at Mather. She said they weren't "ready" yet to start taking on anything else...just the last I heard...

I was in PJ today for blood and what they told me was the "new" melville is open for business on Mon the 14th as an office for appts, blood draw, sonos, IUI's will being there on wed the 16 th and IVF will start for retrievals the 23rd, so i guess start dates for medications would be the 13th for IVF. Anyway, they all seemd very excited, they said the new place is "amazing". Lets keep our fingers crossed and wish us all good luck...
