Don't you just hate it sometimes when you are right?
Hello -
So here is my update..after not getting my period for 3 months after my D&C and after being on provera I was concerned I might have ashermans, scar tissue in the uterus. My Ob said ashermans is rare, you don't have it, don't worry just give it time.
Well I felt like i was cycling just not bleeding and my heart just knew something was wrong so i went to dr palter, someone who specializes in ashermans as well, and he did an ultrasound where he could see my uterus contracting and the blood moving but it is being trapped at the cervix where there looks to be....you got it scar tissue..
I have to have the saline hsg next to see more clearly and than i guess he goes in and removes it but it seems to be our answer. The good news is the dr said it does not appear that I have ashermans in the uterus itself which is great news. Hopefully this will be easy to fix and we can move on.
It is just amazing how you get almost numb..something else to deal with ok go ahead pile it on...I will beat that too =)
Anyway that is the update for now..thanks for your kind words over the past few weeks of support!

This just goes to show how we really do know our bodies best. This is a lesson to all to trust your instincts and speak up when it comes to what is going on in your body. I am glad you got some answers and hopefully you will be moving ahead quickly.

I truly believe that we know our bodies better than a dr... I'm glad you followed your gut. Here's hoping everything's quickly fixable!!!

Well he said since it so new he might be able to break it with the saline...if not he will do a hystercopy with little scissors and cut it there..as long as i don't have any scarring anywhere else I should not need surgery surgey so we will see.
I agree with what everyone said about being your own advocate...we really do know our bodies best..
The other thing that came up is this dr does not really agree with all of our care and treatments so it is so funny to get so many different opnions even on do i have pcos..acording to him absolutely not..but i am on metformin from my other dr so who is right??
for now i am just working on the uterus stuff and the rest will address again later...
