hot dogs
I just had a hot dog, it was sooooo good. I made sure to boil the crap out of it. Hopefully its ok....I do feel a little guilty, as I know we are not supposed to eat them.

I ate so many hot dogs the week before I found out I was Pregnant I guess I was craving them because I dont usually like hot dogs. Then when I found out I was pregnant he guilt settled in. I asked the doc he said its ok

Supposedly not supposed to have them due to nitrates. Not sure what nitrates do - someone told me raises blood pressure.
But I think an occasional dog won't do any harm to anyone.

my Dr. didnt say to stay away from them nor did my dietician from my last pg, I had last week a hotdog from the city! yummy!!!!

hotdogs always smell good, but if i ever ate one i would have indigestion from

I had one for lunch today. My doctor said hot dogs are ok as long as I cook them myself or I get them from a place that is "clean". In other words, no dirty water dawgs.

I've been avoiding them and bacon becuase of nitrates/nitrites....
but then I discovered nitrate/nitrite free bacon, and ohhhhh, the number of BLT's I've been eating since then

oh man, hot dogs were my cravings for a few weeks.. i too boiled them and had mustard on them.. aw man..so delicious! I think you will be ok!! My dr. said everything in moderation cause I specifically asked about hot dogs and my DH wouldnt let me eat them.. then my dr. gave us the okay right in front of DH's face and i looked at him and said.. i want a hot dog for lunch

It's funny I hate hot dogs, but lately have been craving them. I think in the past 2 weeks I've had 1 too many!

Just so you know... after this post yesterday, I ate two hotdogs!!  And I actually brought two to work [to put in the microwave] along with two buns and the Guldens mustard!! I think I have found my favorite preggo food!!

I had a couple during my pregnancy and I also had a bunch of those pigs in a blankets around the holidays!

I eat hot dogs (Not all the time) but when I do, I just make sure they are cooked through. I usually cook them on the grill.

I craved them early in my pregnancy! DH told me that DS must love hot dogs (and pizza)! I was in my second trimester in the summer so at every bbq all I wanted was hot dogs and normally I dont really like them!
