How often do you and your DH/DW go out on "dates"?
DH and I almost never go out by ourselves. We're almost always with other couples. If we're by ourselves, we tend to try and save money by cooking or ordering in something inexpensive.
I think we really need the "us" time, so tonight I gave him a choice of Italian or Sushi and a choice of movie, and I said we're going on a "date". My parents gave us some cash for Chanukah and said that we should go out for a nice dinner, so we're going to make good use of it. We're going to our favorite sushi place here in Queens, and to see The Producers.
How often do you and your DH/DW go out on "dates" yourselves?

hardly ever....
we're homebodies...almost to the point of being reclusive. We enjoy being at home with each other and the dogs because it's rare we're home together at the same time.
We do go out to eat or get take out together and sometimes with other couples.

me too!! we go out to eat, just the 2 of us, but most restaurants tend to feel rushed, so we just eat and go. there's one place we go to in merrick, that we can sit and relax and not feel rushed, and thats the only time during dinner that we do any real talking.
i wish we did more 'date type' activities too- bowling, pool, something along those lines. (eventhough i s*ck at bowling, and i'm an embarassment ). thats more of a date to me than eating out.

Exactly I was going to ask what that was. Though we did have a 'date' night for our anniversary in July. Other times that we have gone out to eat without our daughter by the second hour my WDH is saying I miss her let's go home

Every Monday is our date day. We are both off Sundays and Mondays. Sundays we spend the day running around doing errands and Monday's since everyone is working and kids in school we go to the movies and catch an early dinner then go for ice cream.

we go out to dinner alot and for drinks.
we go to the movies pretty often as well.

I feel like I never see DH anymore. He's in his first year at a big law firm and he's ALWAYS working. I almost didn't believe the doctor when she said I was pregnant. I wasn't sure if it was possible!!!!!!!!
Saturday night is the ONE night a week I see him - but he's usually so tired he doesn't want to go out. But he surprised me the last few weeks - and we actually have gone out for dinner.

A movie about once a month. We usually go out with couples, not alone. We do watch a lot of DVDs in though.

Before the baby we used to go out to dinner every Saturday and Sunday night. Now we have dinner in both nights and watch a movie. We're both homebodies and don't get to see each other much during the week so we like being together as much as possible on the weekends.

We try for once a week at least. Even if it is just making dinner together, lighting a few candles and watching a movie. We even turn off the phone so it's just us
