My feet are so gross!
Can anyone suggest a remedy for reeeaaallly dry, rough skin on the soles of my feet. It's the worst around the "perimeter" particularly the heels. I get regular pedicures, but those don't seem to help matters...HELP!

Oil of Olay thermal pedicure. You use it in the shower and it is hot. It works great. I noticed a difference after a few uses.

I use a pumice stone and Kerasal pumice paste every day in the shower. At night, I put on Kerasal foot ointment. IT works great, my feet went from dry, scaly and cracked to smooth and flip flip ready in less than 2 weeks.

i actually bought the PedEgg that you see the infomercials for on TV - they sell it in drugstores now and i got mine from walgreens for $10.
i have the exact same problem you do, and i LOVE the PedEgg. the first time i used it, it took a while to get all the calluses and dry skin off, but now i use it once or twice a week to keep my heels smooth - my feet have NEVER looked this good! not even after a pedicure!

not an immediate cure, but... i've gotten into the habit of (in addition to my face and body moisturizing routine) to have a foot routine when i get out of the shower. I pumice (though, i think i'm going to look into the pedegg), clean under my nails and tweeze off any dead skin, and then massage Peppermint and poppyseed lotion into my feet. It only takes a few minutes, it feels SOOO awesome and relaxing, AND my feet are soo much nicer!

L'Occitane Shea Butter Foot Cream.
I had the same problem this winter with really dry and cracked skin around the heel of my foot. I with later this on at night and then put socks on and within a week, the dryness was going away. It's worth every penny!!!

Thanks to some LIF girls I recentl;y found out you can buy the callus shaver that they use in the nail place. I got one and now I am addicted and my feet are so much better

I have used this a couple of times, and was told not to. Supposedly it makes it worse after some time. Although it is fun to see all the dead skin come off .
I would try the ped egg, and put a good foot moisturizer on at night and cover with socks.

Hmmm...Tweezerman and the PedEgg...sounds like a bizarre superhero combo. Thanks so much ladies! I think I'm definitely going to find the PedEgg and maybe a couple of the other products mentioned...
