I have an appointment next week to talk to the dr about Clomid....what is discussed? Before you went on clomid, did you husband have an SA?

Re: clomid
When I took Clomid a few years ago my husband had a SA (there was nothing wrong with him) and I had full blood work and an exam before they put me on it. I was not ovulating regularly on my own.

Exactly the same. You may also want to have an HSG to rule out any tube blockages.

Re: clomid
I went to a RE before starting Clomid. DH did a SA and genetic testing and I went through the full work up including HSG, blood work, genetic testing, sonogram, etc. Although it wasn't necessary, we wanted to get that all done before we started with fertility treatments.
Many gynos will just prescribe Clomid and send you off to use and OPK and BD accordingly. I would at least get a SA done if that's the route you are taking.
