IS this dangerous?
My dad is going for a bone scan and CT scan regarding prostate cancer. Is it dangerous to be near him if they are using that dye stuff?

My dad just went through this a couple of weeks ago and my sister is prego, I think they told him to stay arms length away from my sister for 24 hours. He also had to stay arm's length away from my DD. I hope your dad's results come back clean

DH had a test with radioactive dye, and they told him to stay away from me(just not too close) for a few hours. I don't remember exactly how many.

Not sure. I know when my mom had some nuclear test done they told me to keep my ds away from her for 24 hours. Maybe if you ask the people at the place he is having the scan.

I would have him call his doctor and ask. If nuclear medicine is involve and he will be injected with nuclear dye, then he probably shouldn't be around you for a bit.
