I was asked a question that shocked me. Someone asked me what was wrong with us that it took us so long to get pregnant when we have been married for 1.5 years.  First of all, we were not TRYING to get pregnant just because we were married. Second of all, if we HAD had issues, how would that question have been appropriate??

OMG people seriously don't know when to STFU. my mom's friends actually asked her, "so soon?" when she told them i was PG (i got married in october, pregnant in december)

People are stupid.
I was told that someone in my work place discussed with others that "I think Foodie is having trouble getting pregnant." When asked why she thought this, she said it was because I had been married for so long (4 years)and still wasn't pregnant. 
Oh I'm sorry I didn't realize we still lived in a time where marriage automatically=children immediately. Next time I get married I'll be sure to conceive on my wedding night just to please you.
Funny, but if this person was actually one of my friends at work that I discuss my personal life with, she would have known that we CHOSE to NOT get pregnant for four years. We had plenty of other things to fill our life with. And if this wasn't the choice and we were having troubles getting pregnant, why is it any of your business???
I repeat, people are stupid.
