Do any of you get the paper delivered?
I just started getting the Daily News delivered, and got my first bill--for the month it comes to a whopping $4.95 for 7 days a week! So, my question...how much should I tip monthly???

I tip my delivery guy about $10 every 2 months. Which works out to about $1.25 a week.

My FIL has been delivering Newsday for many many years and he gets tipped once a month.

We are signed up to get $2/month added to the bill and we give them a tip at Christmas time.

I don't tip the guy. I don't even know how I would go about that. He drives by in a van while I am still sleeping and launches it at my stoop.
I would tip him at xmas time but I don't know how. One XMas he gave me a card with his name and address but I accidentally threw it out.
Poor newspaper guy. He probably hates me!
ETA: How do you tip them?

for me I kind of just round it up- my Daily news guy leaves an envelope in w/ my paper w/ my total due (I usually pay every 4-6 weeks, I'm so bad!!!).....so let's say its $15, I'd prob. pay $20.....in your case since it's only for 1 week, maybe pay a total of $7?

We send him an extra $25 every 3 - 4 months. He gives us an envelope in with the paper.

I don't tip our Newsday delivery person. Most of the times the papers is at the end of the driveway, near the street! So DH & I still need to trek out & get it....When we had a delivery person that use to put it on the stoop, they got a tip...

LOL I was having the same problem, he left an envelop for a tip,
and I actually decided to tip him for the 1st time,(just to see if anything would change)
and wouldnt you know the paper started appearing right in front of my door! I think they do that on purpose!
