I want to read this whole thread but I have to go to sleep - can everyone promise not to do something stupid so this thread gets pulled and I wonder for the rest of my life what the 5 pages were all about and how the offensive pictures worked their way into the thread?

I've been involved in a few "disputes" but I get over it and dont hold a grudge. Everyone is different, from different backgrounds, has different opinions and I accept that.

After getting married and "crossing over" to LIF, I very rarely went back on LIW b/c I didnt have so much in common with those girls anymore. I met a lot of nice women on here when we were pregnant and had our baby's together.

Well...I posted before without reading this whole thread or the post on LIW...now I wish I hadn't responsed.

I am confused as to what the point is? Why do the LIW girls feel they are ignored on LIF? The more you post and are involved in the boards the more people will get to know you...just like on LIW...I dont see how they are much different other than one is for brides and one is for families. Regardless of who the posters is, if I am interested in a topic I respond. I dont think, oh it's so-and-so, she's new, I'm not responding to her post. To tell you the truth, sometimes I dont even look at who the poster is...just the topic.

That just sounds ridiculous to me in my opinion. I would not even bother doing that.

I seriously cannot believe this thread is still going, wow!

The point of my question was why would someone feel like they needed to go back to LIW to bad mouth the posters here after having a debate.

I had no intention of this becoming a drama thread, I had no intention of this becoming a thread to explain why some people are ignored or anything of the like.

I just didn't understand the act of going to a "sister" site and badmouth this one.

As for the AP who asked if anyone avoids threads started by new posters my answer is no. I don't avoid posts by new posters.

For that matter I rarely avoid anyones thread. If someone posts about a topic that I have something to say about or constructive to contribute, I will reply. If not, I simply don't answer.

But again, the question I posed was why would someone go back to LIW after having a bad experience here just to start a thread saying how everyone is so mean here (on LIF)?
