Is this true about Commerce Bank......
when you go to cash in your coins, if you guess approximately how much you have, you get an additional $5.00? If so, do you/will you count the change at home before you cash it in just to get that extra $$$$?

And, if I could go counting it, I would roll it and then just deposit it.

Yup, it's true... but I thought the prize was just a t-shirt or something. DH and I counted our coins before we went but we didn't count the pennies... so I guessed but I was off by about $3.00. I think you have to be within $1.99??
ETA: We didn't count b/c we knew commerce did that (we actually didn't know until we got there)... we just like counting it when we get a lot.

That's never happened to us! We've been in the ballpark, and our prize was a plastic Commerce Bank to put our change in.

Is there a minimum for the "gifts"? This may be a good way of getting free party favors for DC's b-day parties....

I go there all the time for this. You get a plastic bank or small kiddie t shirt.
You do NOT get $5. Unless there is some sort of promotion but I highly doubt that.
I don't even take the prize cause it just will take up space in my house. The plastic bank is so difficult to get your change out of, not worth using for me.
