So I totally Splurged!!!
I am all against wasting money. I hate it passionately. I do believe in quality so I’m not that bad but still if I can save a buck I’m hoping all over it.
So last weekend after my little scare I was at the Motherhood Works (outlet) in the Source mall and I got one outfit. Price $29.99 for a two piece.
Now that I have the all clear, I went back this past weekend. Total Spent (including tax) $124 (and change).
I normally won’t spend that kind of cash on one time wears (understand that in my mind, this stuff will last maybe 4months, before I change it up). But the prices were to die for.
I got another 2 piece outfit for $19.99
And 6 shirts !!!
That’s 7 shirts and one pair of slacks for $124!! Can’t beat that even in pre-preggo clothes.
My hubby helped out. I told him he was only allowed to look at the clearance and sale racks but to pull stuff out in my size that I could pull off at work. He’s such a better dresser that I am. And even he was proud of my overall purchase price. I feel so good when he tells me I got a steal!
So I just thought I'd share that I love that store

It has all the Maternity story family.. Motherhood, Destination Maternity, Pea in the Pod... etc. I hear it referred to as the outlet.. *shrug*
So i guess it is.. especially with those prices.

freakin awesome! i just got back from the maternity section in macys in manhasset and i bought only motherhood stuff....$127 ....then came home and went on oldnavy.com and spent another $57.....but im sooooooooo looking forward to checking out this store ur talking about in the source mall maybe tomorrow

i think i've done all of my maternity shopping in there on their clearance racks.. i've gotten an entire wardrobe for under $200 from there.. pants, shirts, tshirts, long sleeve vnecks.. everything..
i LOVE that store!!
and old navy comes in second with the great deals..

OMG - if $124 made you feel guilty I'm not even hinting at what I spent on one trip to Pea in the Pod! I dress professionally at work so I had to buy some pricey things. I think you did great - thats a lot of clothing for that price!

That's the thing.. I have to dress professionally for work too. VERY uncomfy on a good day if you ask me. Since I have to travel from Suffolk to WFC its definitely a big thing to be comfy.
I Hate spending money on useless things. I don't mind spending money on a good suit but not a maternity outfit I'll wear for only 4-5months. Ya know?
So $124 is pretty great for me!
