i need a job in the fashion industry in nyc
i'm looking for anything in the fashion industry since i want to start getting my foot in the industry.
it could be anything like a receptionist, or doing clerical work, definitely full time.
if anyone knows of where to search, i would appreciate it very much!

my sis goes to FIT and is going to intern her last semester

go to the career office- they will have tons of stuff
and def do an internship- mine lend to my first job at macy's- and having that on my resume has shaped my whole career-

check mediabistro.com. there are a lot of fashion pr agencies and a receptionist or entry level account exec. would be a great way for you to get your foot into the industry.

Tany definitely talk to your professors. A few of my professors at Nassau also taught at FIT, and they helped me get a foot in the door.
What exactly do you want to do?

Also- if you can go to www.indeed.com. It is a great website- kinda like google for job searching.
