Anyone on this while pregnant? My doctor wants me to start injections, but it sounds scary. If you have taken it, where do you inject yourself?

I inject myself twice a day, right into my belly. It really sounds a lot scarier than it is, and each time it gets easier. Im not going to lie to you and say you will get used to it, because you wont, but its not as bad as it sounds. I have learned to ice the injection site for about 5-7 mins to numb it before I inject myself, and most times I dont even feel it. Pinch hard, and push the plunger slowly, you will be ok. I was on Lovenox my whole pregnancy...I used to inject it in my belly about 6 inches on either side of my belly button (the closer you are to the belly button, the more painful, in my experience). It is a breeze, the needle is a small insulin type needle. Be sure to rotate sides though

Yep-the area to inject can actually be all teh way out to your sides too. aYou may get some bruising but that is the worst I ever had.
