I have a GC and figured I would get this done before my cruise in 6 weeks.

Is it worth it? I really wanted a body exfoliation and this includes that plus the sunless tan solution.

My old boss used to do this. She would get the one where they airbrush you, not the booth kind.

It always looked amazing!

yes, I got it done. for me it wasn't worth it...it lasted for like a day, but I made some mistakes...I still exfoliated in the shower...you have to be VERY careful not to scrub your body at all or it comes off. also, I don't think I let it dry long enough while I was at the spa...I was so impatient...you literally have to stand naked in front of fans for like half an hour and I got bored LOL

Good luck!

I've gone it. After they spray you you have to wait 10-15 min. before getting dressed and than you're not supposed to shower for about 12 hours. I have gotten it done a few different times and never had a problem. It's look's best if you do it 2 weeks in a row that way you make sure it is even and there are no bare spots.

I do it at red hots in roslyn, they do an amazing job. they spray you and then you stand in front of a fan 2 min on each side to dry. Mine would last a week.

Is it airbrush or sunless tanning "lotion"?

They told me it was lotion from France. They put it all over your body after a full body exfoliation. And then you go back the next day for Step 2.

Keep in mind...If you go into a pool w/ chlorine on your cruise the tanner will come right off, so if you want to enjoy the tan just lounge poolside.Chat Icon

Good tip!!!

In such case, you have to be "totally" immerge in the water. Otherwise, you will have the water "mark" when your skin was exposed and the rest under water (happened to me while doing a pedicure after self tanner).

I did this last July and it was awesome. It looked so great and lasted for about a week. I also did the exfoliation at the spa--totally worth it

Re: Has anyone ever had a Sunless Tan Treatment at a Spa?

I posted something similiar earlier today
I was thinking about going to Brazil Bronze bar in Great Neck for airbrush tanning before vacation

Does the tan always come off when you go in the water
I was going to get it done 2 days before we go away, that way I can sit in the sun and ater when we get to the bahamas
I dont know if that will be a problem though and if the tan will rub off??

I went to one of the Brazil Bronze girls when they had a room at Dakotah in Woodbury (not sure if they still do). It was really good- did it before my Wedding- just be careful of your hands & feet- mine came out a little too dark.
The tan will always come off in chlorine but I don't think it will come off in "beach" water.
HTH.
