I have a question...
I have a christening to go to on Sunday. I am the godmother, and I made the christening outfit for the shower. I'm now at a loss for the present. What do I give? Money? How much? Or something else?

My DD got lots of savings bonds for her Christening. My sister, DD's Godmother got her a cross. My BFF's daughter is my Goddaughter and I got her a cross, rented the hall and made the favors.
Since you already made the dress (by the way, I'd love to see a pic of the dress, if you want to share), a $100 savings bond or a pretty cross (the one I got for my GD was only about $40).

I suggest a chain and bracelet set like a cross depending on your denomination. Get a pure silver or platinum they make them for babies you can also get her name it will be something that they will keep for life

Thank you ladies!!! I ended up witha savings bond, Mom isn't into crosses too much and I had spoken to her mom and she had bought her jewelry already.
