Easter gifts
I want to get DH something small for Easter and he doesn't want candy. What are you getting DH for Easter?

Re: Easter gifts
a gift for DH for Easter? No, we don't give each other anything.
I only make my kids baskets from the Easter Bunny.

Re: Easter gifts
this might sound weird, but when my sister and I hit high school age, my mom stopped giving us candy in our easter baskets, and we got underwear instead...it was usually funny stuff...like with easter bunnies on them, etc...
that might be fun to get him, some easter boxers and maybe a pale blue or pale green tie.

Re: Easter gifts
We don't exchange either. But usually get a bag of candy from our parents.
But maybe you could fill a basket with Easter boxer shorts, razors, deoderant, the pastel tie is a real cute idea. Almost like a stocking stuffer easter basket.
My DH is very practical so I always go that route.

Re: Easter gifts
I'm going to give DH some candy, a card, and that's about it. I'll be lucky if I get a card

Re: Easter gifts
If HE doesn't want candy, put candy in his basket that YOU like, then say "Oh, sorry honey, I forgot you didn't want any candy. I'll take those, then."
Since it's the *thought* that counts, you *thought* to get him a gift, and you also get to eat the candy. Win-Win!

We don't exchange gifts for Easter, I do buy a few extra cadbury eggs, because he likes those.

Re: Easter gifts
we dont really do easter. i just continue my moms tradition of candy in baskets and toiletry items- hairspray, undies, deodorant, stuff like that..
