Can you maybe go to your grandparents, and have him meet you there later on? And after that have a talk with him about how important this was to you and how he messed up Christmas and will have to buy you and extra gift to make up for it????
I really am sorry. I don't think you should wait around for him when you really want to be with your family

I think I'm just going to get in my car and go. I can't believe we won't be together on Christmas. I don't even think I have any gas - grrr I hope I can find an open station.

Sorry to hear all this. How come u r not at his parents with him right now? I was a lil confused. But what I was thinking is maybe u could get in your car and go to your parents like u said and he meet up with u there. Sometimes when we get upset everything thats ever bothered us comes into play. Take a breath and sit and thinki of the best alternative to make u happy right now. Everything else will fall into place as the day goes on. Hope the rest of your nite goes well.

His mother called him an idiot for ditching me on Christmas Sometimes, I just don't know who's side she's gonna take! She's a tricky tricky woman.

Glad it worked out!!!!!! It took me a long time to cut the umbilical cord that still attached JT to his pain in the azz mother! But eventually, it worked. Keep training him!

I am glad to hear that everything worked out. I think this time of year is very difficult for all newlyweds - there are a lot of things to blend together and no one wants their stuff lost in the shuffel. I am glad that your DH realized he should make a family with you and be with you for the holidays.
