Why am I torturing myself?

Why do I keep looking at the pg board? It is absolutely painful to look at but I keep doing it anyway.

OMG, I am doing that too and it makes me so sad. I don't know why I am torturing myself either. Part of me is doing it b/c I want to see what's going on with the ladies that I "met" before my m/c but it makes me so sad when I see their u/s pics and their due dates. I have to stay away from it.

I'm sorry. I do the same thing, several times a day. I partially do it b/c I truly believe that I will get pregnant sometime soon and I constantly add threads to my notebook about diff. things that I find important or different ideas or products that I like. I def. feel the torture part though.

I know it's different for you though. Everything is fresh for you right now, and you should've been over there. For some unknown reason it just wasn't your time right now. I wish it was. I know it will be soon though!!! Please keep your chin up, as much as you can right now.

I know exactly what you mean. I do it all the time too but I've convinced myself that my turn will come when its meant to be. You need to keep the faith as hard as that is to do. This is an emotionally draining process but I firmly believe that this type of adversity will make us better & stronger parents for having gone through it.

I think many of us are guilty of lurking over at the pg board. It's hurtful sometimes but also informative about what we can all expect some day when it's our turn.

I know, I do the same thing. I heard something that kind of helped me on another board...Faith...not Fear. I gues you have to be in the right place for that to help you, but you will get there!

I do this too. The parenting board is even worse! It's like my heart is crying in pain as I read everything. I try to have faith knowing its just not my time yet.
You should feel the same.

GUILTY !! I do it all the time!! Sometimes i think i am out of my mind!! My mind wanders and then i just start lurking!! I'm pathetic.

I did it too. I think I know why. Its because I never gave up the thought that I would become a mother. Its ok to have hope and dream for the future. Keep on believing and don't lose the faith.

not too often, but I've also looked.

I often think of those boards like the newlywed board on LIW. When I get too wrapped up, I try to take a breath and remind myself that I don't belong there and shouldn't be reading those things anyway.

Other times, I'll read and think O Good God, do I really want this????
