Any advice for next cycle?

Hi Ladies. This is my 1st post...I've been lurking though & you ladies seem especially nice & helpful, so I figured I'd try posting!!

DH & I just started ttc. This month I am almost 100% sure I was pregnant...I had so many signs...nauseous, VERY sore breasts, tired like you can't imagine & lots of other little symptoms I have never had before. But I didn't want to take a test until I was further along since I didn't want to make myself & DH crazy...but in hindsight I probably should have. Anyway, AF arrived today (it was 3 days late...I have never, ever in my life been late).

I know if I was indeed pregnant, I miscarried *very* early...will my next cycle be affected at all? My cycle is usually 24 days & it seems I ovulate on day 12. Will it be the same this month? Do I start counting from today? Any tips on what to do on my next cycle to help get pregnant? Anything I can do to help avoid an early miscarriage??

I wish I had easy answers to your questions. You may have just been late- there is no way to know if its a miscarriage that early. But you would still start you cycle on the first day of your period regardless. Have you tried OPK to narrow down when you ovulate? If you do know you ovulate on day 12, then it should still be true this month.
As for preventing early miscarriage other than eating healthy and avoiding caffine, there isn't much else to do but pray!

Well you could have been pg or just late. Stress of TTC tends to make people late. But If you were pg your cylce might be off for the next month. You could use Opk's to help pinpoint it.
