So upset

I'm going to wedding this weekend and just found out from my MIL that 4 of my husbands cousins are newly pregnant. We will probably be sitting at the same table with all of them. I'm happy for them, but it upsets me at the same time. I know they will be talking about it all night. It's gonna be tough to put on a happy face. I'm in the 2ww so I can't even have a drink.

For your own sanity, you might want to spend as little time at that table as possible. Hang in there!

I just had this happen to me recently, at DH's last family function (which was a christening with a luncheon afterwards). We had 5 other females at the table w/ us - my SIL who has an almost 4 year old son; 2 pregnant women (one got married right before me and 1 about 3 years after me) who were due w/in a month of one another and one of their sisters who couldn't wait to be a first time aunt and told me all about her sister's pregnancy!! Then 2 sisters, one of which was recently engaged.... i felt like there were milestones happening all around us and we were just kind of there...
It was rough but it forced me to get up and go outside for some fresh air, and to talk to other relatives of his that I dont' get to talk to much.
I def. say mingle as much as you can get away from your table...
