Arrrghghhhh - GRRR!!!!
I do word processing for some of the people I work with. There is one man in particular that gives me letters to type all the time. He usually jots what he wants typed out on looseleaf paper. His hand writing is SO atrocious - I mean, SO bad that literally - a crowd forms in the office of people trying to GUESS each word.
Hey, not everyone has the best hand writing so I understand - only - when you go to simply ask him what some of the words actually say he BELITTLES you and gives you a condescending attitude!!! Almost like duh, how can you not read that?!
Oyyyyyyy... Vent over.

i'm not even kidding - if i didn't KNOW that this didn't make any sense i would think one sentence of what he gave me says:
"I am wrong in really going advisement no L-029598098-1"
When, in reality, it says:
"I am writing in reply to your assessment no. L-056826026-1"
OR another doozy:
"In 2006, are tan paper's heiress banged conducting bureau in NYS"
LOL when, in reality, it says:
"In, 2006 our taxpayer began conducting business in NYS"
I have to say - we do  about it a lot!

I agree with him dictating instead of writing... maybe you can bring that up to him.
