1 cm dialated.

I understand why you don't want the baby to come early but still.
no sex for you. no eggplant. no excessive walking around. and don't touch your nips.  (seriously) basically, don't do anything to entice Max to grace us with his presence.

Really? Does eggplant bring on labor? If it does, I just may eat it every day for the next few weeks.
As for you Preguntas...just take it easy! I think the more you relax the longer you can keep Max comfy right where he is.

So how does this work? Have you felt anything to indicate you might be dilated? I have an appt tomorrow night (36w4d) and am not interested in letting this kid out yet. I'll keep my legs crossed with you!!!

It will only figure that you go early ONLY b/c you don't want to. If Max does come early, you'll laugh about it later. Early or not Dh will do great on his midterms!!!

Can you believe- I thnk I may have felt it happen. There was this twinge of pain in my cervix. I am very aware of my cervix, since Max Power likes to play the drums with it. And there was this weird stinging sensation that happened this morning. I wonder if it really happens like that- BAM, 1cm.

Interesting! I believe you, I swear I felt the night the baby shifted from breech to head down back in December! I'm staying tuned for any cervix twinges

the eggplant thing is a wives tale but back in the day on liw there was this eggplant recipe floating around that supposedly brought on labor for a few girls.
The nips thing was told to me by my doctor a few times, and then I heard it again from the doctor who delivered me. Sorry.
