What to give up in the 2WW?
I'm in the 2WW right now and I am wondering if there is anything I should not be doing...for instance, i take an RX for anxiety...is that ok? What about cough syrup and things like that? Ahhhhh....so many questions...

I don't think you need to give up anything. If you are pg you wouldn't be sharing blood with the baby yet. Not sure when that happens but it's not that early!

I had oral surgery the week before I found out I was pregnant with DD(obviously not planned). I was Vicodin and had anesthesia and she is fine.

Nope. Everything is fine during the 2WW. As soon as you get your BFP, that's when you need to reevaluate your meds with the OB. Good luck!!

If you're taking meds for anxiety- you really should discuss with your doctor what is safe to take during pregnancy. The last thing you should be doing when you are pg is weaning yourself off anti-anxiety meds.

I haven't been on them for too long (about 6 weeks), but when I spoke to my Dr. about TTC, he said when I get pregnant, I will just stop taking them.
Is it dangerous to wean yourself off of them during pregnancy?
