Just got home from L&D
Yikes, what a day.  has been having periods where he just doesn't move. The longest stint before today was 12 hours. Enough to make you worried but he usually gave me a pop or a kick and I was reassured. Well, we went over 24 hours with nothing. So I called my OB and she didn't hesitate to send me to L&D.
As expected, as soon as we got there he started kicking around vigoriously (thank GOD) but they said my fluid levels were pretty low so I stayed for a bit to get hydration and to watch him on the monitor.
All is good now, thank goodness. And my OB reprimanded me for feeling silly calling. She said to NEVER hesitate to call when you have lack of movement. So for everyone who felt silly like me, don't. Call and get checked. You never know. 9 times out of 10 it turns out to be just fine but you and baby will always be better off getting checked out.

Thanks ladies! I'm just glad it we went and it wasn't another sleepless night wondering if everything is alright in there. It's nerve wracking, you know?

I can't even tell you how many times I landed in L&D during my pregnancy for no movement, or dehydration.
Keep drinking that water!

Yes, it is always good to call your doctor - even with questions you might find silly! It never hurts to ask!!!
