Good luck tomorrow! I took 2 Advil an hour before the procedure. I had some cramping that stopped about half an hour later.

I have taken up to 4 at a time and I am still alive and kicking. The HSG is so quick and I had only slight cramping afterwards. GL!

Take 2 Advil before you go. Don't freak out about it.
I had a a water sono a year ago and it was very painful. I was totally freaked to have the HSG. I got myself totally worked up, and it was nothing...I swear.
Some cramping and pressure, and then it was over in minutes. Light spotting after for a few hours.
I got pg 3 days later!!!!

I took 3 advil and it wasn't bad. Cramping for a few seconds when they did the actual procedure and some cramping after but nothing unbearable. Good Luck

i took two advil at the Dr's office but then ended up not having the procedure for another 4 hours, so basically I had nothing.
It was uncomfortable but nothing I would need pain medication for.

I took 2 Advil about 45 minutes before the procedure. It wasn't bad at all, and I had little to no cramping afterwards.

It is really not that bad. I will go quick. I had some spotting after. But, many women get PG afterwards so give a try this month.
OH and try to lay flat after you put your legs down. They told me I had a blocked tube on my RT side. Foudn out later I do not have blocked right side, but i remember being afraid to put my legs down. So, I was probably slightly tilted.

Good Luck ~~ I took 2 tylenol like an hour before then an advil. (and a xanax) It was honestly the perfect cocktail........ and it was a very quick painless procedure. Good luck and hopefully tubes will be all clear and AOK. Keep us posted!!
Oh i also sang a song the whole timesto keep my mind off of it. I didnt plan on making and arse of myself but i sang Carrie Underwoods song before he cheats.... i am surprised radiologist didnt commit me.....
