Does anyone else feel like they never ever have enough room...
for all their stuff?
No matter how often I seem to clean out my closets, reorganize and maximize space-- it never ever seems to be enough.
Perhaps it's because I have been apartment living since college, but I dream at night about huge walk-in closets!
I am currently in the midsts of a closet re-org....

we're also in an apt and I seriously fantasize about huge walk in closets!! 
I just did some shopping yesterday and filled up a huge trash bag full of clothes to donate and still - never enough room!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES!!!
I think this all the time. I purge so much, i barely even shop anymore, yet there's never enough room for everything. its so frustrating. It's really one of the only reasons that i want a house, actually.

and still-- nothing to wear!
DH has a lot of clothes and shoes too, so with the two of us-- it's just insane.
If when we buy a house there is no walk-in, we will have to build one by using a room next door.
I find it also hard cause I can't see my clothes-- so, I like don't even know what I have. I forget about stuff.

I clean out everything every weekend.
I give away, throw away...and no matter what there is never enough room for everything. I'm in the apartment situation too, so I guess there is nothing to really do about it!

part of my problem is that I can't let things go. as much as I donate, there is still so much more I could get rid of - but don't.
another problem I have (and I'm sure I'm not alone) is that living in this climate, you really need 2 whole wardrobes - one for Fall/Winter and one for Spring/Summer. plus all the shoes for all those seasons

very true-- and in an apartment, you can't really put your summer clothes somewhere else. But then there is also those transition months-- where you need everything!
I hope that once we are in a house, my problems will be solved. But, my IL's have an absolute tremendous house and my MIL was thinking about building another closet. I guess you just have more stuff when you have more room.

bingo! that is definitely true
my sister has his and hers HUUUUUGE walk in closets and they both filled them up very quickly.

YES!
Everytime I go shopping I look in my closet and try and give away a small bag of things I don't wear anymore and twice a year I give away SEVERALl bags during season changes but I still never make room!
Then again, to say our closet space is minimal is an understatement!
