Funny how the tides turn - update
Well, apparently my body got the memo. I just started spotting!
Happy 
And sad 
I'm starting to think infertility is a recipe for schizophrenia.

So, I've been obsessing about getting a BFP, and now, I'm hoping that I don't get a BFP this month. Crazy, right?
At an earlier appointment with my RE she found a lump in my breast. She wanted to wait a month or so to see if it would just go away but at my last appointment she checked and it was still there.
My mother is a breast cancer survivor, and both my Aunt on my father's side, and my paternal grandmother also survived breast cancer, so I'm considered high risk, unfortunate.
My RE is concerned, so she had me set up appointments next week with a breast surgeon and to have a mammogram.
Problem is, if I'm pregnant, I can't do the mammogram, in which case, I will live each day of my potential pregnancy in a panicked state of paranoia and fear.
So, here's to AF coming on Friday as regularly scheduled, so I can get these appointments out of the way, get my baseline mammogram, get confirmation that it is, in fact, NOTHING, so I can move on to my next cycle of IUI's with no worries and no fears.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear this!!!  I pray that you get AF and a NEGATIVE on your mammogram!!!!!!

I'm a little scared, obviously, but trying to stay grounded and realistic, that I'm only 32, and it's probably nothing.
But, this is one hell of a wake up call to take care of myself, get yearly mammograms from now on, and to do monthly self-checks.

I am sorry you have to deal with this now. You are a smart woman and know that your health must come first. When you get all of the answers you need, then you can get back to the drawing board. Thank you for reminding us all how important having a mammogram is. Ive had mine already.

When I went for my mammogram I told them there was a possibility I could be pregnant and they assured me it would be OK (they put something over my abdomen like you get at the dentist during X-rays). Also, there are other options for pregnant women. They can do ultrasounds. I am going for an ultrasound next Monday as a 6 month follow up on some "lumpiness" they saw last time (I'm not pg, but they do this as a follow up to the mamm.).

When I was pregnant they found a lump also.
They immediately sent me to a breast surgeon who ordered a mammo and a sono of the breast.
I'm not sure why you are being told you can't have this done.
