Nervous about meds...
This is going to be my first cycle using Clomid, Estrodial(sp) and Progesterone. I am the type of person who only resorts to meds (asprin, cold meds) as an absolute last resort... Anyway, did you have any side effects with any of these meds? If so what were they? I have taken the progesterone before, and that makes me moody (PMS-like) and very sore boobs. I am silly for being so nervous? I guess it also somewhat has to do with that I HATE swallowing any type of pill

Re: Nervous about meds...
I too cannot take pills and rarely take any. Clomid was a bit chaulky but i got them down. To be honest I then went to Gonal-F pen, it was so much easier for me because I cannot swallow pills. Of course after I got over the shock of having to stick a needle in me. It was very easy to do. But, I didn't have any side effects on clomid. I usually react strongly to meds also. Good luck.

Re: Nervous about meds...
Side Effects of Clomid for me were hot flashes, floaters in my eyes and it tended to make me more emotional (weepy really). I have no pill swallowing issues. My mom used to make me practice on M&Ms when i was little

Re: Nervous about meds...
I will preface this with everyone responds differently to medication. I had no problems with the progesterone (Crinone gel) but Clomid was not good for me. The worst side effect for me was depression and weepiness. With that said, there are plenty of women who have zero side effects from Clomid. Once I moved onto injectables I have not had any side effects at all!
