So, anyone care to take a gander at what I got for V-Day?
A house! Sorry jackass, I don't think that counts as a Valentine's gift, and while we're at it, in two weeks, when it's my birthday, it still won't count for that!  He's so stupid I just have to laugh sometimes.

Or if he surprised me with the purchase of a home. Or if I didn't write the check for the downpayment MYSELF. I just love how he thinks of the last thing purchased and makes that my VDay gift every year. Good thing I didn't buy some tampons as my last purchse. I think reading, Dear Rachel, for V-day, I got you some tampons, love hubby," just doesn't sound as nice as a house

Sounds like Rob! He rode the house purchase to cover gifts for a while. Then we had a wedding and every time a gift was required he'd say "Do you know how much we spent on a WEDDING?"
He did good for VDay though... so I won't complain too much!
