Re: Drinking Q
Oh and to answer the question I used to be able to drink like a fish and never get sick or drunk (all except for that one year at my office holiday party, where me and sour apple martini's became good friends )
Now that I'm older and rarely drink anymore, I find that I have zero tolerance. I have one glass of wine or a cocktail and I'm toast

I could hold mine that was my problem
Same here. I know my limits. If DH and I drink more than 2 bottles of wine in an evening we usually feel crappy the next day. I haven't actually gotten in a long time from drinking. I learned my lesson a long time ago.

100% Irish so, yes, I can hold mine!
I have been sick twice. Once on peach schnapps and the second on Irish coffees - too much of both. I can't even sniff them anymore.

Re: Drinking Q
Not really. I'm pretty much a cheap date - always have been But I'm USUALLY good about knowing when I have a good enough buzz going to just stop and enjoy it, but sometimes...I have this bad habit of asking DH if I can "just have a sip" and then, oh, that can get bad!

Re: Drinking Q
I'm done after 2 drinks. I've only gotten sick once (New Years of '99 ) and I vowed never to drink like that again and I've TOTALLY held that promise!

Can you hold your liquor?
Or do you usually end up feeling green?
I used to be able to hold it quite well! Not so much anymore and I bet after I have the baby it will be even harder to hold my liquor!

Re: Drinking Q
Heck yeah! I kow it sounds somewhat alcoholic, but I can drink a ton and be fine. Most guys I know will admit that I can outdrink them. And I'm sorry to say, DH and I find it annoying when we drink with another couple and the girl can't hold her own. It's even worse when it's the guy!
