Re: did you have morning sickness??
i have had a ton of nausea but no throwing up, and i am 10 weeks now (the nausea is actually getting worse).
just remember to eat small meals throughout the day and always have some crackers or peppermint candies with you, that will help.
i also recommend buying "your pregnancy week by week" and "the girlfriend's guide to pregnancy" - IMO, much more informative and less scary than "what to expect"

Re: did you have morning sickness??
So far I've only had waves of nausea from time to time. I found that I was waking up and feeling nauseous from the lack of eating all night, so now i keep some saltines in my nightstand and I eat a few before i even get out of bed. It really helps cut down on the nausea first thing in the morning. Ginger ale is also a life saver, it seems to calm my tummy instantly. Try not to go longer than 2 hours without eating something, even if it is something small like a piece of fruit or some crackers. The m/s is allegedly supposed to wear off after 10-12 weeks, but everyone is different. HTH!

With my son I barely had any. With this PG weeks 5-9 were horrible. Starting in week 10 I felt a lot better.
Hope you feel better soon

Re: did you have morning sickness??
I really just have gagging right now. When I start to feel nauseous, I eat something, and that makes it go away.
I was told by a preggo on here a long time ago to drink a cup of milk in the morning. I did that, and it would help me.

Re: did you have morning sickness??
I had terrible morning sickness. My doctor gave me a prescription for the nausea/vomitting. It helped a lot. During weeks 8 - 9 were the worst.
Today I am 10 weeks and I feel AMAZING!!! I had a real breakfast and was able to keep it down. I really feel great today and I hope this is the start of the end of the morning sickness

Re: did you have morning sickness??
With my first pregnancy, I never had M/S. With this pregnancy, I realized last night that I have "night sickness". I was complaining after dinner that I felt sick & DH pointed out that this was the 4th or 5th night in a row. I haven't actually thrown up (yet), but I feel pretty crummy.
Usually, it passes at the end of the first trimeters, but sometimes, it can last longer & it may last for the whole pregnancy.

Re: did you have morning sickness??
I am 8w1d and no real morning sickness to speak of. I have some days where I feel a little queasy but it's not all the time and I have yet to actually throw up. (Knock on wood) So far, so good......I hope it stays this way.
