I just wanted to let you mommies to be know that if you have a gut feeling about something when you are giving birth - then go with it.

My dr. wanted to give me a second round of Cervadil (after the 1st 12 hours)-- I was 12 days late and not even a hairline dilated. I absolutely refused - I knew the baby's heartbeat was strong at that point - and I had a feeling I would have ended up with a csection even after another 12 hours of cervadil. I didn't want to risk anything happening to the baby - and I was adamant about having a section then and there. He even suggested I wait until morning to see if anything happens - I said NO WAY!

My doctor was not happy with my decision but performed the section anyway. His words when he took out my DS was "Good call - you would have NEVER had his vaginally"

So, although we trust our doctors to do the rigth thing by us - and I'm sure they always try to do what's best first - follow your gut! It's still YOUR body - and YOUR baby!
