hospital tour spinoff...
At what week do you do this? When is everyone signed up for childbirth education? IS anyone signed up??

I'm skipping the tour b/c Winthrop only does it a 1PM on Mondays.
I started childbirth classes early January and my last one is tomorrow night (I'm 33 wks)

I did the 1pm tour on Mondays. Waste of time.
I went at 34 weeks.

did the tour first time around. going to take olivia to the sibling class and they do a tour for the children. going to do the tour again. doesnt hurt to get reaquainted.

When I went to meet my new midwives (I swicthed drs) the tour was part of meeting them. I didn't sign up for a class.

our childbirth class is this saturday... Good Sam signs you up when you call for the month before your due ..
they have 5 2 hr sessions or one full saturday which is what we are doing

My midwife does her own childbirth class at about 32 weeks (I think).
I still have to call the hospital and ask them about the tour, but I figured I have time (I'm 20 weeks tomorrow).

I'm taking the childbirth class at Winthrop, starting next week, and I believe they said that the last class includes a tour. If not, I am not signing up. Who's available on a Monday at 1pm anyway?

We did the tour at 32 weeks with our child preparedness class and one of the midwives from the doctors practice. We absolutely enjoyed it and are so very glad that we did it. We walked through where to park the day-of, what floor we have t go to, registration, went into a L&D room, the maternity ward, everything. It made me feel so much more comfortable about how to visualize that day and know where I will be and why.

I just had my hospital tour yesterday and it was the 2nd of our childbirth classes (first one was last week). I'm 31 weeks.
