Need Help...

Hello Ladies! I haven't been on in awhile due to the holidays and work, but I need your help in determining what is going on.

So a little background I was on BC for 8 years and I stopped BC at the end of September didn't get my period until 37 days later 11/23/07. The next cycle was 34 days long and AF showed on 12/27/07. Now I am currently on cycle day 41 and though it seems she is here today, it is light and I can't count this as cycle day one. So that being said it has been about 4 months and only 2 periods to date with the third I am guessing pretty much here just not full force yet. I am not sure at this point when or even if I am ovulating. This is all driving me nuts. My question is should I go to the doctor? Do you think I may have something wrong? Do I start with blood work?

I need your advice on this ladies as I am at the point that I really have no idea what is going on. I know that I haven't been TTC for very long but it is frustrating when I can't even get a normal cycle.

I don't think you necessarily need to worry about having 3 AFs in 4 months. People with longer cycles won't have a period every calendar month.

My cycles range from 32-40 days, so that's why I say I am on my 6th month TTC, but my 5th cycle of TTC.

I think your body is probably just regulating itself and getting used to being off BCP.

I'd say see your doctor to ease any concerns you might have, but it doesn't sound SO out of the ordinary to me.

Hi! Welcome back!

I've heard that it can take a while for your cycle to regulate itself. I came off the pill in the end of November and got my first AF on 12/26/07 and I didn't O in January. My Dr said that depending on the BCP and the person it can go back on schedule right away or it can take a while.

Have you asked your Dr about it yet?
