Anyone use or have used Wee-Wee Pads before?

If so how often do you change them? My puppy peed on it twice now and I'm not sure when I should replace it...

Re: Anyone use or have used Wee-Wee Pads before?

I would assume since pup is small, small pee pees.

So if it has not leaked through to floor, I would not change it frequently. She will smell where she goes (this is good) and she will keep going there. And it will dry faster than you know it.

But I did not use them so I could be wrong, but this is what I think I would do if it was a small pee and barely wet.

I keep them out for Misty when we are going to be gone for more than six hours. We toss them each time she uses them. They stink and I don't see the reason to keep it hanging around.

I don't change mine until it is complete soiled or if she has done # 2. She is small so small pee pees for her.

I use them and change it once it looks dirty..usually this is every 2 pees about...If that makes sense.

And BTW...we have used them ALL and the BEST ones are the extra thick Dr. 's Foster and Smith ones. they are sooo absorbant!

We change them about once a day.
We're training him to go outside, so sometimes it's less than that (if he's goodChat Icon )
I just leave it there incase he can't hold it until I take him out.

I honestly used to change it every time she went, but learned not to. I leave it there and usually change it 2X a day. My Puppy is only 3 months and it is better to leave the scent there so they know to keep going back to the same spot and not on the floor. Even when I put a new one down, I put a little pee from the old one on it so her scent is always there.

She goes over to it every time now and never has an accident on the floor.

when Shea was a puppy , we used them... we would change it after 3 pees... we wanted her to smell it and know that she has to go to the bathroom on it... and it worked!!
