We told the employees in the pizzeria and family after the first tri was up.... Just to be safe.

But trust me - I was bursting at the seams to tell......

We actually told our families and close friends shortly after we found out, so at about 5 weeks. It was early, and many people wouldn't do that but DH and I were too excited to keep it a secret. Plus, everyone knew we were trying and my SILs and BF were all asking me if I got AF each month.

I waited until 12 weeks to tell my boss and other work people.

I always wanted to wait for the 3 month mark, but its so hard to keep it in.

We waited a few days before our 1st appointment (at 7 weeks), but only told our parents and siblings and told them not to say anything until after our appointment to make sure everything was OK.

I think I waited for my next appointment to tell the people at work, but everyone kinda knew (but didn't say anything) something was up, because I was not myself.

We wanted to wait until the 12 weeks but couldnt hold it in.....so everyone pretty much knows now and I am 8 weeks....

By 10 weeks, everyone pretty much knew. I just recently told a few of my co-workers.

mom found out within a couple days of the BFP. I had to tell my boss the same day as the BFP (he had a nuclear stress test, and was glowing all over me ) I told my best friend when I had my crisis earlier this week (at just over 5 weeks)

We intend to tell DH's parents when we're at 9 weeks, and we'll probably tell everyone else at 11 weeks....

Immediate family knew after our first appointment at about 5 weeks.

Told remaining family and close friends at about 8 weeks.

Started telling co workers and others at 13 weeks.

Parents were told the day I found out (4wks) b/c I had a previous m/c so they knew we were trying.
Siblings between 4-5 wks.
Friends and extended family b/t 12-14wks.
Work 16 wks+

No one knows just yet besides me and DH. Our parents have no clue that we were TTC and we really want to wait until at least my first sonogram (not until March 3rd ) to make sure we see a heartbeat. I feel somewhat guilty about keeping it from them since I know how ridiculously excited they are going to be (it will be the first grandchild for both sets of parents), but i just want to make sure everything is ok. It's definitely a completely personal decision.

everyone knows already (at 5 weeks!). Since we did IVF and everyone knew we were doing it, I couldn't not tell them. I was out of work for 2 weeks also so they were asking how I was and I couldn't contain my big silly grin. I'm nervous it will backfire on me and I will regret it, but I am enjoying it for now

immediate family as soon as we were bfp (parents and siblings) and then DH's family @ 8 and my family @ 12 weeks... (it just worked out this way since we wanted to tell everyone in person and this is when we saw each side of the family)

Our families and close friends knew right away. We told some other close friends around 9-10 weeks. Everyone else found out at 12 weeks.

Now at 15 weeks (16 on Sunday) just starting to tell others. I told some of my co-workers

we told close friends at around 6, 6.5 weeks, and we told a lot more people last night (i am 8W2D today).

i have heard that once you see the HB the risk of a miscarriage goes down to like 2-3% (don't quote me on the exact percentage) so i am cautiously optimistic and just too excited to hold it in anymore!!!

i don't think i will tell people at work just yet, although i think it's kind of obvious, and i'm willing to bet the rumors are flying already. (i lost a lot of weight for my wedding in october so i look like i have a baby belly now - and a baby butt!!)

I told my best friend right away since we planned to get pregnant together the same year and then told my parents the next time we went over for dinner.(have to tell my mother, I need to ask her all sorts of ?s)

We didn't tell the rest of the people until my 3 month mark .

1st - told everyone at 6 weeks, but had a MC, so totally regretted it

DD - told parents at 8 weeks, rest of family and friends around 12 I think..?

This pregnancy - told parents and close friends as soon as I got my BFP. Spilling the beans to more and more friends... Will tell work in another week or so.

I am about 9 weeks now
