You Ladies will Appreciate This!
I'm really not a holiday card sender. I've did it years back, but it's just not me! I always feel bad about the cards we get, that I'm not returning a card, but I just don't do any...
So, I'm on the phone with DH before and tell him about the cards we got today and he's like "Well, did YOU buy cards for us to send to people?" and I said, "No I didn't and being that you couldn't manage to write out a whopping 10 thank you notes on your own, I doubt you'll be sending holiday cards!" (that shut him up)

you are not kidding! My husband did NONE as well. SO I had to do my family first, my friends second, then his family like a month later, and finalized with his friends. I had to prioritize my list! ; )
I am like u with the xmas cards. I would rather receive none and write none. I love getting them and then I forget to respond with my own. I am sure this pisses off everyone!

Just to make you non-card senders feel better....I send a ton but it is because I like to do it and I don't really mind whether we get one back or not. The year it becomes too much or if I start to hate it, I will stop.
I always am amused at how we suddenly get cards from certain people after our cards went out

I love buying the cards to send out and then when it is time to send them out, I loose the interest. I was thinking today of making labels instead of handwritting, but I don't like labels b/c it is so impersonal...i was thinking of sending them out after xmas and before new years.....one less thing to do before 12/25.

I too am a non-card sender. I do get cards every year from the same people...and I never send them one, so I figure if they are offended by this, they would stop sending them.

Wow! All men are the same. I did all our thank you's except to his groomsmen, his boss and a few other people who are important to him. I thought it was important the thank you come from him. Also, he was in charge of the thank-yous for the people who dont' speak English. Needless to say, after months of nagging, he got out the few in the US.
