back pain at 8weeks?
I'm 8 weeks today. I've been having some lower back pain/discomfort since Saturday. Is it normal to have this discomfort this early?

I had it that early on as well it was more lower back/siatica pain and I thought I was totally nuts for feeling back pain that early!
My Dr. said it was totally normal and recommended massages after the first trimester......they definitely helped a bunch!!

OMG bubbs i was just searching on here to see if i was crazy and saw your question. I am almost 8 weeks friday and im having a dull lower back pain. I thought i was crazy. Thanks for confirming this is normal. feel better

thank god someone else said something! i was doing research online and of course all the websites say cr@p about miscarriages and stuff. i've been having lower back pain on and off too - glad i'm not alone!

I think my back pain started around 12 weeks, but I wouldn't be too concerned if I were you.

I don't want to say "pain" as much as I want to say "discomfort." I am glad to read that I am not the only one feeling it! It is in my lower back almost siatica. And, it comes and goes. More this weekend when I was walking around a lot and doing some shopping. When I sit I feel much better.

I started with some discomfort back issues around 12 weeks. It comes and goes.
Feel better.

I had sciatica pain early on in my pregnancy...probably right around 8 weeks or so and then it went away. It returned about a week ago at 30 weeks.
