What causes M/S?

I hope this doesn't sound stupid but why do some people have M/S while others don't? Is it a hormone that makes you ill? What makes you feel sick and throw up or want to throw up?

Is there some kind of explanation for it? For instance, I have the dark line going down from my chest cavity to my girly girl. The hormones in my body cause that, but not everyone gets that.

so what causes M/s?

I just want to educate myself and since I never had M/S I never researched it.

there is not definite explaination on Morning Sickness, however it is Hormone related.

I have Hyperemisis Gravadarum which is a severe form of MS. It actually should not be coupled with MS but it's the only way to explain it to people and educate them on it. While there is not definite link to what causes it, all they know is it's hormones! I have a ton of research on it and other information (b/c I have HG and MS).

I have the line too but it goes from my naval to the top of my uterous.

Hormones. That is what causes it. I do not have it yet, but I am already gagging on my toothbrush. ick!
