How tired is too tired?

I am sooo tired. I am at just about 6 weeks now and I cannot keep my eyes open for the life of me.

I have been going to bed at 9pm (very strange for me).

How long does this last?

ETA - Is this normal?

First trimester I was in bed every night by 7pm. It was getting rediculous. I swear by 2nd trimester it switched off like a light bulb. I have more energy and I'm not that tired! Only 6 weeks left for you!

I have the same problem. Everyone keeps telling me it will go away in the 2nd Tri so hopefully that will be anyday now

I was the same way in the 1st trimester and then got most of my energy back for the 2nd. Now in the 3rd, I'm tired all the time again.

Ha! I have got that beat. I go to bed at 8:30 and I am only around 4 weeks.

I am 9 weeks and I feel the same way. I get home from work at 630 and I am lying in bed by 8-830 at the latest

i go into bed as soon as I get home at 7 or so! I am so exhausted all the time!

I was wiped out all the time early on, but I noticed it faded around week 14. It seems to be coming back now at 27.5w though. Hang in there!

I'm exhausted...I take a nap everyday when I come home from work

OMG!!!............I am sooooooooooooo tired all of the time!!! I come home at 4:30 I sleep, I wake up......try to watch some TV......fall back asleep!!!.......get up and go to bed and I am still tired all day long!!

This is so insane.....I've never slept so much in all my life. Normally if I napped like this I would have blazing headaches but let me tell you.....not only do I NOT have headaches these past few weeks have been some of the BEST most intoxicating sleep that I've had so I guess this is what my body needs right now to grow this little peanut.

oh yea you will be like that for the remainder of the 1st... and in all honesty you will get more energy however you will more then likely be somewhat tired through entire pregnancy. Though ur 2nd trimester for me was the best I had, I felt wonderful- somewhat tired but great. Now i'm back to my afternoon nap again. Good luck

It never really alleviated for me during my PG.... but I will tell you that my only saving grace were naps when I could.....

I tried to take them at every opportunity!

i sleep all the time. I think the most that i am up is when im working a 12 hour shift. I thought it was just me cuz i worked nights this is comforting to read. I can sleep anytime anywhere and for hours. I really only wake up to pee. LOL

I was shot most of the first trimester. Staying up past 9 was an absolute chore!

Don't be alarmed, your body is working overtime to create this little miracle!
