A bunch of times - I don't think it's dangerous at all. What's the worst that can happen? Your parachute rips and you slowly fall into the water...

I did it in St Martin... it was AMAZING soo peaceful up there not scary ike I thought at all.... and Chris went when we were in Lake George and he's a wimp and he liked it to!

DH and I went in St Thomas. It's not as scary as I though it would be (and I'm a punk). DH actually got kinda board after a while. I enjoyed it.

I did it in Cannes with a friend. It wasn't scary at all and I am afraid of roller coasters. It was nice and peaceful up there.

I did it in Maui and it was great... AT FIRST!!! The ride was about 10 minutes and the first 2 minutes were heaven... then all he!! broke loose. I began getting quesy and was dry heaving for the last 8 minutes of the ride.
I got off and was sick for the rest of the day!
Despite all that I would try it again.

DH did it in Aruba. He actually said it was kind of boring. You get up there and then just kind of sit there for like 15 min.
I dont think its dangerous. But I do have to tell you that my neighbors friend went parasailing and the parachute detached from the rope on the boat. He started floating away , detached himself and landed in the water. I think the chances of that are slim, but it can happen

DH and I did it in Bora Bora on our hm... I was terrified!!
DH loved it, I didn't like it at all. We went up 900 feet (DH talked me into that) and even though we saw amazingly beautiful views we were going over coral and shallow water! The whole time the wind was blowing us b/c we were so high and I kept losing my stomach (that feeling when you're on a roller coaster).
I don't think most places let you go that high though.
I won't be doing that again.

I agree--- there were 5 of us of which 4 went up-- I think we were up for like 10 mins each. It was fun but after a few mins of looking around it gets kind of boring... I've never had any desire to go again.

I've done it and I have a major fear of heights. It was awesome. It was peaceful and beautiful and I while I was up there I took the opportunity to sing on top of my lungs—the wind was blowing my hair back and I pretended I was shooting a video!

I did it in Lake George, and got stuck in a wind change. I was getting tossed around like crazy...I'd probably do it again, but definitely somewhere where I know it's calmer, like the caribbean.
