We did. We thought it was pretty good. Wasn't amazing and the ending was pretty predictable. But, we love movies like that so we are probably biased! Chat Icon

DH saw it and can't stop talking about it. He's been waiting since July to see it and it apparently fulfilled all his high expectations. Chat Icon

It was entertaining but I expected it to be more complex and mysterious.

We did. I was dissappointed. Although if there is a sequel/prequel I'd see it

Re: So did anyone see Cloverfield this weekend

At 1hr 24mins, I'm surprised the movie even had time to be so bad..needless to say, I'll pass for now and wait for the DVD to come out. I'll bet in its 2nd weekend that the movie doesn't even make 1/3 of its opening weekend...

Re: So did anyone see Cloverfield this weekend

The shaking made it really difficult to watch. Overall, I liked it very much!

I'm tempted to go see it again, but I'll probably wait for the DVD.

Re: So did anyone see Cloverfield this weekend

It was ok. I would recommend waiting for the DVD. The shaking camera was a bit too much at times and the ending was a bit of a let down. It wasn't a horrible movie but it wasn't great either. I had low expectations going into the movie and therefore I was at least entertained. The popcorn was very yummy. Chat Icon

Re: So did anyone see Cloverfield this weekend

You wanna see a good movie that will really frighten you AND will make you think, all at the same time? Then go see No Country For Old men, if it's still in theatres. This movie is not for the mouthbreathers Chat Icon
