In a wedding and PG
I will be 8 months pregnant in a wedding in July.
We ordered the dresses before I knew I was PG, and I haven't told my friend yet.
What do you do in this situation? I'm sure it happens all the time. Do I re order the dress? I just don't want to mess anything up for her

My SIL was 8 months pregnant for her sisters wedding. She ordered the dress in the biggest size and also ordered extra fabric. She looked great on the wedding day!

call her ASAP and have her order the dress 2-3 sizes bigger if it's not too late. if it's too late, have them order extra fabric and pray!
it won't mess up her day AT ALL. my MOH was 7 months (or 8) at my wedding and looked GORGEOUS! she ordered her dress 2-3 sizes bigger and it worked out perfectly. i think they just hemmed it and took it in in places but the stomach fit her. when the flowers were in front of her stomach you couldn't even tell she was pregnant!
you just need to get her to switch the dress order before it's too late. call her ASAP. good luck!

i will be 9mths at my sil wedding in july and we went to look at dresses last weekend, i am able to order it in april and it will be in on time and i plan on ordering it 2 sizes bigger and pray it fite

If all goes planned...I will be pregnant for my friend's wedding in September. I was already measured for a dress and just told them to order me a size 12. Hopefully I won't need anything bigger than that.

I'm in a wedding in March, I'll be 31 weeks preggo. I ordered several sizes bigger plus two extra yards of fabric. I'll wait until closer to the date to have it altered.
I found out I was preggo a few days after I had to call in my measurements. While we wanted to wait to tell people we were preggo, I told the bride because I didn't want her to hear it from the dress store!

i was in a wedding last june, i was 32 weeks. I looked terrible, but made the best of it. i feel bad for my friend b/c the pictures i was in are ruined.
I didnt take the limo b/c there was smoking, and i knew i would have to stop and pee. so DH and i drove ourselves.

I was a MOH in a wedding at 8 month pg with my 1st. We ordered the same BM's dresses as the rest of the BP but mine was at least 3-4 sizes bigger and we still had to take out boning and let out seams everywhere and it was still tight around my tummy-it actually hurt. I was so uncomfy, i had to change into a maternity dress right after my speech.
I'd def call your friend now and see if you can change the size or even better pick a maternity dress.

i am supposed to be in someones wedding in August. she just told me a few weeks ago before i knew i was preg. Now im thinking of telling her i cant do it. i really cant imagine wearing a blue dress and being 8 months preg. i feel bad but i hope she understands!!!

I did this
My friend was in my wedding and she asked me to be in hers
I said yes, but then got pregnant. Ill be a little over 6 months. I have bad ankles, hips and back from a 17 foot fall It ook years ago. i didnt think I could do all the standing and all. Also, her bridesmaids wanted more attention (and money) than I was able to give at the time. I told her it was better I drop out. I am still going to the shower, bachelorette dinner and wedding of course. Its just easier this way

This happened to me. I was in a wedding and we ordered the dresses months b/f I found out I was PG. It wasn't a big deal at all! (I was 7 months for the wedding). The dress place ordered extra fabric (which ended up costing like $12 more) and altering the dress. I had to go in for quite a few extra alterations, and it was Very obvious that I was pregnant in my dress, but it all worked out it in the end.
The day was EXHAUSTING, but my friend was happy---I suggest letting her know ASAP, so she doesn't feel as if you were trying to keep it from her =)
