Need Opinions
I recently see a therapist every other week for my anxiety. I feel like I dont have enough time after work to run there and when I am there I cant sit still I feel like I have so much other things I could be doing. Not to mention I feel like I have nothing to talk to her about. I feel like I have everyday problems that I could just talk to my friends about. I have only been going to her since October and I know I probably havent given it enough time. My anxiety seems to be worse only when I am getting my period so I think its a hormonal thing. What do you think I should say to my therapist about not going anymore? I want to be honest with her so incase I need to see her again she might take me back, I feel like she is going to be mad. When I asked her to come every other week b/c it was getting crazy every week she was annoyed alittle bit I felt.
What do you think I should do?

Re: Need Opinions
I think if you feel you're not getting anything out of it, than you tell her that.
If you think it's a hormonal thing, than I would talk to your gyn about it.

Re: Need Opinions
I think you should tell your therapist what you are telling us, and see what her recommendations are.
I also know plenty of people who only see therapists for "maintenance" purposes and don't go every week.
I think a good therapist will set up a plan to meet the client where they are at emotionally and in terms of the client's needs, and not necessarily follow "their own agenda".
Is another time of the day/week an option? I know for me, when my work day is done, I want to go home!!
