Re: the chi
I am a hairdresser and some of the girls in the salon have it and love it. It does not blow alot of air but still seems to dry the hair very quick.

What dryer do you recommend as a hairdresser? I am looking for a quality dryer that will cut the drying time.

what do you think would be the better investment - the dryer or the straighening iron?

Re: the chi
I have them both. If you go to amazon.com they are sometimes on sale. I got the haridryer for 80 bucks including shipping over the summer. It does an amazing job and it takes me half the time to dry my hair. I like them both so I can't tell you which I like better, the combo of them both makes my hair look best. The straightner with my old dryer was fine, but so much better with the chi dryer.
This is the dryer I got:
chi dryer
They also have the straightener for under $100.

I have the Chi Straightener. I love it. I bought it on Ebay months ago.
